He is truly missed by all who knew him. The 1984 officers are: President — Paul Hongo, Jr.; Vice-President — Lou Vargo; Secretary — Sylvia Hongo; Controller — Emil Boyko; Branch Manager — John Koi. Dear Sir: I would like to thank you very much for all your help in my receiving a scholarship from the Hungarian Reformed Federation. Please pass along my thanks to all those wonderful people involved in making the Scholarship possible. I am putting the scholarship funds to good use towards my tuition at the college I am attending. I would like to apologize for the delay in sending this letter, but I had originally started to send it to Mr. Nagy, who unfortunately is no longer with us, but I am sure is resting in God’s dwelling place. I hope that through my own efforts and education, I may someday show my gratitude by serving my church and also the Federation in some way. Thanks again, Roger W. Foley BRANCH 2 - CLEVELAND, OH The monthly meeting of the branch was called to order at 12:30 by President Szabó the main purpose being the election of officers for the year. The usual reports were presented. Discussion regarding future social programming with other branches led to the unanimous declaration that Branch #2 should undertake our projects of fund raising individually rather than to join with any other branch. Daniel Vizsolyi was introduced as a recently transferred member and former Branch Manager from the Buffalo, NY area. His past experience will be utilized in the future of our branch. In reference to the fact that the branch presently has a treasury balance of $376, with only $15 in bills payable, it was motioned by Ms. Elaine Gal- gany and seconded by Dr. S. Szabó that $100 be immediately given to Bethltn Home, Ligonier and $100 to the Hungarian Reformed Federation Scholarship Fund. Unanimously approved. The motion was made by Ms. Helen Kish and seconded by D. Vizsolyi that the Reverend Dr. Stephen Szabó be accorded the position of President Emeritus, due to his many long years of service to this organization. Unanimously approved.
