ARCHIVES MUSEUM We are happy to report that the very rich archives and museum material, known as the Bethlen Collection is being worked upon by the Reverend Bela and Eva Olah with great care and diligence. The large conference room is covered wall to wall with documents of the early Hungarian life in America. The temporary ‘home’ for the material is under construction and the projected time of transfer is summer. Indeed, the support of individuals and congregations is greatly needed since this is a project of all of us! Remember, this is your history! The precious documents, some almost 100 years old, is the history of the American Hungarians. Please do your best, in your community to be a co-worker in collecting materials — flags, emblems, pictures, advertisements, booklets, organization minutes. Even such seemingly unimportant objects as old passports, posters, steamship line tickets, ticket stubs should be saved — any and everything. Nothing is unimportant. Contact your Federation representative in your area and they will see to it that the material will get to the Bethlen Collection in Ligonier, PA. Kovács, It has come to our attention that you are in the process of starting a building project on the Archives-Museum of the Bethlen Home, to house material concerning our Hungarian Heritage. The members of our Dorcas Guild would be pleased to make a contribution of a $100.00, in their name, at this time to further this worthy endeavor, with the thought in mind that at some future date we would contribute more as our funds will allow. With God's blessings in all your endeavors to further the work of God and the Hungarian traditions, we remain, Sincerely yours. Dorcas Guild, Hungarian Reformed Church of Allen Park, Michigan 9
