The Westmorland Community College will supply the Hungarian professor for the course which will run for ten weeks, three hours weekly. We hope that, because about thirty of our employees are interested, the teacher will come to our nursing home to hold classes. The tuition fees are S40.00 per person and will be paid hv the Bethlen Home. The first donation of $250.00 has arrived for this purpose, and we are busy trying to raise additional funds, since we would need about $1,200.00 to be able to send all our enthusiastic employees to learn some Hungarian. If you feel that you would like to help this program, please send your donation to our office and specify that it is to be used for Hungarian language courses. Many of our old Hungarians don’t speak English anymore, so it would be helpful in their care for our employees to know Hungarian. We are not expecting miracles and a perfect knowledge of the language after this course, but we know it will assure a deeper contact with the patients. We are happy about the interest demonstrated by our employees, which exhibits their good will and kind efforts for our residents. Your support for this project may be sent to: Bethlen Home, P. O. Box 657, Ligonier, Penna- 15658 and will be greatly appreciated. — FRATERNALISM IS A FAMILY AFFAIR — LET US ALL PLAN FOR FINANCIAL SECURITY THROUGH LIFE INSURANCE COVERAGE WITH OUR FEDERATION!
