Our brother in C lirist, Andrew Kurimai was born on October 19, 1912 in Norwalk. ( T. He married Irene Lucskay. They have three married children; Mark, Mrs. George Klein and Mrs. Glen Lambert. He died on March 9, 1981 at Stamford Hospital, Stamford. CT. He was given God's grace to discover early in his life the reality and superiority of God's eternal kingdom abiding for ever over a constantly changing and decaying perishable phenomenal world. The innermost desire of his heart was to serve God, his King and Savior. His means to support him all the wav to fulfill this desire to become a pastor were not available at the time of his youth. Yet his soul thirsted for the righteous love and truth of God and this led him to become a faithful servant of the Almighty. Knowing that the Church is the gateway of heaven, he spent his life in Christ's Church serving and having the eyes of faith, which always were able to see God's unshakable kingdom awaiting and calling home through our Redeemer the pilgrims of the night. His serv ices as well as Church offices mark his pilgrimage onwards toward that eternal kingdom. He was a man to praise God in the Church Choir. He w as an elder, several times a delegate of our Church to Calvin Synod as a member of our Consistory, past secretary , treasurer and president of our Consistory , also a past Superintendent of our Church Sunday School. He was a great athlete on our Church's basketball team. He was a District Manager of the local chapter of the H.R.F.A., past member of the Board of Directors of the H.R.F.A., member of the Governing Board of Bethlen Home, delegate of our Calvin Synod to the General Synod of the I'.C.C. This list is not complete. He loved his family and realized that the church possessing the hope of glory is God's larger family through faith in Christ. He desired that the members of his family may find the fulfillment of their lives as well in serving Christ in the Church as he himself was always eager to do. His dear wife is presently singing in the Choir for she also knows the hope of glory we have in Christ. They have their children with their families in the Church. One of their daughters liv ing here in Norwalk is engaging herself in the Sunday School Superintendent's sacred work, and already his granddaughter is an activ e member of the Youth Fellowship. By God's grace extended to his beloved, his devoted life style serving Christ seems to continue in them. At this point God opened wide before him the gate of heaven. Looking at this merely with an earthly eye would bring us only sudden separation, pain, and sorrow, hut looking at this happening with the inner eye of faith we see the promise of an eternal blessing in the light of God's selfrevelation to us in His holy word. Rev. Z. Szabó The untimely death of Mrs. Rose Nagy on December 29, 1980 was received with sadness by all members of the Board of Directors in our official Federation family . She was just elected to a full term as a director at our convention held in June 1980. The activ ities of Branches 6 and 15 kept her busy and she and the other Branch members were ardent supporters of our yearly bazaar held at the Bethlen Home. Our prayers are offered to her family that they will receive comfort in the months ahead during this their hour of sorrow and bereavement. The funeral serv ices were held on January 2,1981 at the Grace Lutheran Church in South Park, Pennsylvania. In behalf of the national officers.
