DEBUTANTES AT CLEVEEAND BETHLEN BENEFIT BALL By Elmer E. Vargo, Director The largest social event in the Buckeye Road area was held on the evening of April 26, 1975. This was the annual Virágos Bál sponsored by the Women’s Guild of The First Hungarian Reformed Church for the benefit of our Bethlen Home in Li- gonier, Pa. The fourteen debs were presented to the audience by the Master of Ceremonies, Elmer E. Vargo as they were escorted to the front of the ballroom by their fathers. The Directors of The Hungarian Reformed Federation of America present with their wives were: Dr. Stephen Szabó, Vice President; William Aros, William Szuch and Elmer E. Vargo, Directors and László Kernes, District Manager, Joseph Arnosky, Section Manager and Alexander Szabadkai. The Officers of the Women’s Guild and the committee did such a great job that it will be an evening remembered by all. The President is Mrs. Evelyn Unger and Mrs. Rose Arnosky was in charge of the debs. We express our heartfelt thanks to the members of the Women’s Guild for their time and efforts in making this a very successful event. May God Bless you all in helping with this Charitable work.
