Imre Labas presented with the award by the President. by Professor Antal Pásztor on the oboe, clarinet and tarogato. Hungarian folk dances were performed by a group of teen-agers dressed in beautiful Hungarian costumes led by Mrs. Agnes Zatai, choreographer. The event was well attended. The President gave Federation awards to the sponsoring committee mem­bers. The clear income of the evening in the amount of $140.00 was given by the sponsoring branches to­ward the Federation’s Student Aid Fund. Mrs. Elvira Gyula Vigh receiving the award from the President. B. Ludwig also conducted a Hungarian language course during the 1972-1973 fiscal year for the mem­bers of our Indiana Harbor branch. The New Jersey district meeting was held on June 2nd in the large meeting room of the New Brunswick Hungarian Reformed Church. After the meeting a dinner dance was held at the Hungarian- American Athletic Club. The sponsoring committee members were: Rev. Imre Bertalan and Joseph Mol­nár, Board of Directors; William Puskas and Albert St. Miklossy, Section Managers; Charles Kovács, George Dózsa and Alexander Hody, agents; Mrs. Ida Bankó, Joseph Gyenes, Rev. Zoltán Király, Géza Megyesi and Mrs. Helen Putnoky, Branch Managers. The dinner dance was attended by the National Of­Rev. Imre Bertalan and Joseph Molnár, Board of Directors, open the Banquet. ficers; the Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania Board of Directors; the New Jersey and New York Branch Managers and branch mem­bers ; the New Brunswick church and lodge delegates. It was a real and true fraternal evening. President Beky gave Federation awards to a few persons for their dedicated services. The profit of the evening President Beky presents the awards to Bela Puskas and Ferenc Antal. was given toward the Federation’s Student Aid Fund and for fraternal and charitable projects. President Beky and Secretary George represented the Federation at the Calvin Synod meeting. Presi­dent Beky extended the greetings of the Federation, and the Secretary said the closing devotion on May 2nd in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. The South Norwalk Reformed Church celebrated its 80th anniversary on May 20th. The Secretary said the anniversary prayer and was toastmaster at the anniversary banquet. He introduced Mr. Andrew Kuriinai, Board of Director and Branch Manager, encouraging the members to support the Federation. The Bridgeport United Church of Christ cele­brated the 60th anniversary of its Ladies Society, and 15
