STATEMENT OF LEDGER ASSETS: Our Federation’s Ledger Assets in the past four years increased from $14,913,124.78 in 1967 to $16,991,712.54 in 1971, an increase of $2,078,587.76. The increase over the previous four year period of 1963-67 was $1,098,091.51. This increase was due to better yielding investments, both in bonds and mortgages by the Investment Committee. We shall continue to be selective in our investments in the future. Our ratio of assets to liabilities increased from 111.46% in 1967 to 113.36% in 1971, and the ratio of net investment income to mean assets from 4.27% in 1967 to 4.96% in 1971. VII.
