FIELD FORCE CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON With the resignation of our Sercretary the secretarial duties were taken over and performed by the Supreme Officers until this post will be filled. The most important branch of the secretarial duties —on which depends the future and growth of our Federation—is the organizational and promotional work, production and conservation. Lately on the field of organization we noticed some concern and dissatisfaction. Therefore, our Supreme Officers decided to reorganize our program, setting it on equal basis with equal quota and territorial apportion and with a uniform system of recompensation. For this reason it was found necessary to invite our organizers to a two-days conference in Washington. On the first day the Supreme Officers introduced the new program, quota and territorial apportionment and the new uniform salary system, which was accepted with general enthusiasm. The second day was completely devoted to training, introducing new insurance systems and discussing arising problems on the field. The following members participated in the conference: Paul Ferenczy and Joseph Benedek, Supervisors; Joseph Molnár, László Keines, Andrew Vince, District Managers; Albert Szentmiklossy, Miklós Szolga, Albert Oris, Mrs. Emma Aros, dr. Daniel Vizsolyi, dr. Antal Viczian and Joseph Arnosky, Section Managers, and Alexander Hegedűs, Canadian District Manager. Reverend L. Carey excused himself because of his illness. The conference was opened with a prayer by the President, who introduced the new organizational program. Instructions were performed by our Controller, Mr. László L. Eszenyi and by our Treasurer, Mr. Paul St. Miklossy, with the assistance of Bela Aros, member of the Supreme Council. We have high hopes that the results of this valuable conference will show up in production pretty soon. 11
