FRATERNITY 9 JOSEPH KECSKEMETHY: ITEMS OF INTEREST SEVENTIETH ANNIVERSARY PRIZE WINNERS The opportunity to visit Washington. D. C., was made possible by our Federation for two prize winners and their children. Mrs. Grace Johnson from Allen Park, Michigan, attended our 70th Anniversary banquet in Detroit and won the door prize consisting of a round trip flight to Washington, D. C., with weekend hotel accommodations. Mrs. Johnson brought her son Skip along and they had a grand time. A friendly letter from Mrs. Johnson to my secretary, who acted as hostess, reads as follows: Dear Miss Korocz: Just a note to express our thanks to you for the warm welcome we received from you, and for the gracious way in which you “hosted” us while visiting your beautiful office, on our recent trip to Washington. We also remember the delicious lunch we had with you and the other young ladies from the office, at “Gigi’s”. We certainly enjoyed our tour of our nation’s Capitol, with many thanks to the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America for this opportunity. Also — and I know you will like to hear this — in our reminiscing, Skip said, “You know one of the things I liked the best? It was when we went out to that office.” Please convey our thanks to everyone; they were all so sweet — the men, too! God’s richest blessings upon you all, and hope we may meet again. Sincerely, , . Grace Johnson and Skip Mrs. Ida Bankó, our New Brunswick office secretary, won a round trip flight and hotel accommodations to the District of Columbia for her excellence in sales production in her district. She brought her charming daughter Victoria with her and writes to our hostess: Dear Anne: I am here in Ligonier and Victoria is at the Bethlen Home. She is enjoying herself and I am getting some rest. I want to thank you for having been so very nice to us when we were in Washington. Everything was so wonderful, beginning with our fine accommodations. It was nice to meet the people in the Home Office. I hope you will visit us sometime. Thank you again, and best wishes. .Nincprpiv Ida Bankó Sincerely We were glad to have these ladies visit us with their children. Come again!
