Five other companions were luckier, because they were able to swim to the south bank of the river which Zsolt could not do. The young victim was the older son of Rev. and Mrs. Miklós Szolga. Rev. Szolga is pastor of the First Hungarian Ref. Church in Bethlehem and the well-liked section manager of our Federation in the Lehigh Valley. Zsolt’s funeral service was held Saturday, June 18. It was conducted by the ministers of the Calvin Synod and led by the Rt. Rev. Arpad George, president. Our Federation was represented by Dr. Zoltán Beky and Reverend Joseph Kecskemethy, who also took part in the burial services in the church as well as at the cemetery. Young Szolga was born in Budapest, Hungary, and came to the United States with his parents in 1956. Surviving are his parents, two sisters, Irene and Zsuzsa, and László, his younger brother in this country, and his grandparents and other relatives in Hungary. — (Joseph Kecskemethy.)
