FRATERNITY 9 ITEMS OF INTEREST OUR TREASURER, PAUL ST. MIKLOSSY, PRESIDENT OF MARYLAND AND D. C. FRATERNAL CONGRESS The Maryland and District of Columbia Fraternal Congress held its 59th annual session in the Lord Bal.imore Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland, April 22 and 23, 1966, with an attendance of 159, representing about 27 affiliated societies. Officers elected for 1966 are: President, Paul St. Miklossy, The Hungarian Reformed Federation of America; First Vice President, J. Jelet Christopher, Royal Arcanum; Second Vice President, John Hányok, Greek Catholic Union of U. S. A.; Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs. E. Olive Eckert, North American Benefit Association; Directors, William Edge- worth, Workmen’s Benefit Fund; Lena McQuain, Woodmen of the World Insurance Society; Betty Marshall, North American Benefit Association; Donald T. Cronin, Travelers’ Association of America; C. L. Martin, North American Life Assurance Society; Robert E. Lee, Sons of Norway; Dr. Malcolm D. Gilligan, Knights of Columbus. Publicity Chairman, Joseph A. Gabisch, Knights of Columbus. At the closing of the session the newly elected officers were in­stalled by Miss Louise Patrick, President of the National Fraternal Congress of America. As we report this outstanding event, we express our most sincere congratulations to our treasurer for having achieved such prominence, thus having brought recognition and honor to our Federation.
