4 FRATERNITY JOSEPH KECSKEMETHY: ITEMS OF INTEREST WITH PRIDE . . . ABOUT OUR YOUNGER SET GRADUATED FROM THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY On June 9, 1965, Mr. and Mrs. László Eszenyi were present at the graduation of their son, Second Lieutenant Steven Andrew Eszenyi, from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Steve had been appointed to the Academy by Congressman Charles MacMathias of Maryland four years ago. While in high school he was a member of the National Honor Society and successfully maintained a similar scholastic level throughout his years at the Academy. On the Superintendent’s List, which is a high honor granted cadets with outstanding academic and military Stephen A. Eszenyi records, he became a Cadet-Major and a member of the soccer team. Steve earned his B. S. degree majoring in International Affairs and has started his military career in an Air Force base near Phoenix, Arizona. We sincerely hope that with his special education in foreign affairs we may soon greet him in a position in which, while serving his country, he can help to further the cause of world peace and use his influence in the just cause of the land of his forefathers. The Managing Editor and his wife extend special congratulations to Steve, a former son of the Bethlen Home.
