6 FRATERNITY divine message. Our dream, at is appears, is Satan’s camouflage, a trap, a ridiculous and false reverse of the divine pattern. Our dream in its appearance is nothing else but a composition of the alchemy and the art of symbolization of the devil. God’s message remains in the dream, but it is hidden in an entangled form transposed by the cunning and inexhaustible inventiveness of Satan. Satan cannot obliterate God’s Word in the dream, but he does have the power to hide it behind symbols. It is strange, even incredible, but Satan borrows from the Bible the symbols he uses for mixing up the divine message. Every dream symbol is taken from the Bible. Why? Because Satan wants to destroy, to ruin God’s work regarding the salvation of mankind, and he endeavors to do this using the same methods and the same platform God intends for carrying out His plan of salvation. Satan adopts his ideas and actions from God, transforming them into black magic. God and Satan are not rivals, of course; the final conquest of Satan depends on God’s will. Let’s take a dream. First of all, we have to know that every dream has a tell-tale clue, one or more prominent symbols. Now, we may compare the dream symbols with the Bible, and getting the adequate Biblical symbols and their meaning, we have the message of the dream, which has been hidden and transposed by Satan. A man dreamed that his friend was killed in a duel, and that when he was informed about it, he felt sad for days. On the following day the man, brooding over this strange dream, concluded that something had happened to his friend. Can we believe that this was the message God intended to reveal to that man? And on what part can we discover Satan’s hand in the dream? Let us start with the presumption that God intended to convey to the heart of the man to whom He sent the dream, to give him a warning. God’s message, however, got lost somewhere. What happened? Satan made a skit out of what was sent by God as a strictly personal data. We learned that there is a tell-tale clue to every dream. The clue in question is: Someone was murdered. Who? His friend? If a dream is God’s report or warning in every case, and refers to the dreamer only, then we are dealing here not with a friend, but with the dreamer himself. Thus the “friend” in the dream is the dreamer, more exactly, the friend is the better ego of the dreamer, his ego led by conscience. But who was the killer? The Bible states about Satan: “He was a murderer from the beginning.” (John 8:44.) Consequently, the duel was fought between his conscience and Satan. The fact that his “friend” was killed in the duel, means that the duel ended in favor of Satan. We learned the background of this dream: This man hated his brother, and had a remorse because of it. Satan, however, subdued his conscience. The message, transposed and hidden behind a story, is quite obvious: “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer.” (I. John 3:15.) To hate or not to hate has been shifted by Satan to a duel. From the Word came a theatrical scene, a chivalry cliché. By making
