FRATERNITY 9 42. The Secretary announced that committee meetings will on the first day be held in the Kossuth House. Committee members will be transported by busses, leaving the Motor Hotel at 1:45 P. M. and returning at 5:45 P. M. 43. The President recessed the Convention at 12:15 until 6 o’clock in the afternoon. Desmond Parragh led the Convention in the morning devotions at 9:23 A. M. 45. The President opened the session of the third day at 9:35 A. M. 46. Dr. Andrew Harsanyi, recording secretary, read the roll call. 47. Rev. Joseph Marsalko, recording secretary, read the minutes of the session of the second day. THE CONVENTION APPROVED THE MINUTES AS READ AND THE PRESIDENT ASKED REV. BACSÓ, MRS. HÁMOS AND REV. SZIÁRTÓ TO ATTEST THE SAME. 48. Rev Vitéz called the attention of the Convention to the fact that the services of the former Legal Counsellor had been highly praised, but that the appreciation, however, had not manifested itself in any visible form. He suggested, therefore, to consider an appropriate gift. THE CONVENTION REFERRED THE MATTER TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE, INSTRUCTING IT TO BRING IN A RECOMMENDATION TO THIS EFFECT. 49. The President requested information concerning the progress of the work of the committees. The Administrative Committee reported that it still needed the entire day in order to complete its work. The Finance Committee asked for a few additional hours only, and the Bethlen Home Committee announced that it will have its report ready for presentation. The Administrative Committee will continue its work in the Motor Hotel, and the Finance Committee will go to the Kossuth House and to the bank. The President requested the committee chairmen to give him a progress report at 2 P. M. 50. The President welcomed two new guests: Dr. Gábor Ujfalussy and Rev. Aladár Komjáthy. 51.
