OPENING DEVOTIONS The Convention was preceded by a Devotional Service held in the conference room at 10:15 A. M. Participating ministers were: the Rev. Joseph Kecskeméthy (Scripture Reading from Rom. 12), the Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephen Szabó (prayer), the Rt. Rev. George E. K. Borshy (meditation), the Rt. Rev. Bishop Zoltán Béky (prayer), and the Rev. Árpád George (benediction). II. PLENARY SESSION 1. The first plenary business session of the Convention was opened by President Borshy at 10:33 A. M. He welcomed the delegates and guests, and expressed his satisfaction at seeing 14 ladies among the delegates. 2. The Secretary introduced the Supreme Officers, the members of the Supreme Council and Mr. Alexander Eger, the new Legal Counsellor elected by the Supreme Council. He also introduced the following guests: Rev. Árpád Beretz, Rev. Dezső Ábrahám, Rev. Imre Bertalan, Mr. Joseph St. Miklóssy, Mrs. Joseph Dula, Mrs. Sárosi, Mrs. Varga, Mrs. Veszprémi, Mrs. Palágyi, Mrs. Fürjész, Mrs. Bacsó, Mrs. Sala, Mrs. Melegh, Mr. Cseh, Mrs. Putnoky; also Territorial Supervisors Benedek
