TOP HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH AWARD GOES TO ONE OF OUR YOUNGER MEMBERS Carl A. Bordy, one of our congenial young members of Branch 67, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bordy of 410 South Oakland Ave., Sharon, Pennsylvania, has been announced as one of the top high school English students in the United States. Carl, a senior, was entered last spring in the National Council of Teachers of English awards program, along with 5,800 other carefully selected candidates from high schools in the 50 states. The results of two examinations in composition and literary awareness, plus three original compositions of different types, were judged first in Pennsylvania and then nationally, with Carl being one of the 870 seniors
