8 FRATERNITY JOSEPH KECSKEMETHY, Secretary: ITEMS OF INTEREST I. ORGANIZATIONAL MEETINGS For the first four months of the year the President and Secretary have scheduled several organizational and promotional meetings with the full-time workers of the field force for the purpose of presenting new plans and discussing points of vital interest. Among the issues on the agenda for discussion will be ways and means of increasing production and methods of conserving the membership, and the discussion of the yearly quota requirements. In addition, the new organizational and territorial plans for 1961 will be presented and carried out according to the directives of the June 1960 Convention. The scheduled dates of these field force meetings are as follows: February 18: Perth Amboy, New Jersey February 19: New Brunswick, New Jersey February 20: New York City, New York February 25: Trenton, New Jersey February 26: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania March 4- 5: Cleveland, Ohio March 11-12: Detroit, Michigan Invitations to those concerned in each district will be sent out in good time and in the event a change in date might be required, proper notification will also be given. II. SUPREME COUNCIL MEETING The regular yearly meeting of the Supreme Council will be held in our Kossuth House on March 20, 1961 . . . and will continue throughout the week, possibly to the 25th. The agenda: A. Yearly reports of the Supreme Officers whose offices and departmental work for the year 1960 will be examined by the respective committees. B. Reports of Administrative, Financial, Auditing Committees. C. General discussion and resolutions. * * ★ ENGAGEMENT It is with pleasure that we announce the recent engagement of Mr. Joseph G. Kecskemethy, son of our Executive Secretary, and Miss Susanna Biddle of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Miss Biddle is a graduate of Winchester-Thurston School, Pittsburgh, and the University of Pittsburgh. Her father, Dr. Theodore W. Biddle, formerly dean of men at the University of Pittsburgh, is now president of the Johnstown College. Mr. Kecskemethy is also a graduate of the Univerrsity of Pittsburgh and at present is a civilian employee of the Department of the Army at the Pentagon in Washington, D. C.
