6 FRATERNITY JOSEPH KECSKEMETHY: THE YEAR OF PILGRIMAGE Three Weeks’ Travel in 7 European Countries and Special Tours TO THE HOLY LAND In the previous issue of the Fraternity I acquainted you with the high hopes and noteworthy aims of our Federation for the coming year. I announced that in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the founding of our Federation, we designated the year 1961 as “THE YEAR OF PILGRIMAGE” and that beginning September 16, 1960, and continuing through July 15, 1961, WE WILL LAUNCH A NEW MEMBERSHIP DRIVE in which the winners will be awarded A FREE ROUND TRIP TO EUROPE WITH TOURS IN SEVEN COUNTRIES, A PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND AND VALUABLE CASH PRIZES Requirements and contest particulars are the following: 1. Any person at least 16 years of age who is a member in good standing and holding at least a $1,000 life insurance certificate with our Federation, issued not later than December 31, 1960, and paid up-to-date, is eligible to enter the contest. Full-time salaried employees, supervisors, district and section managers of our Federation may also participate, if, over and above their regular yearly quotas, they fulfill the production requirements of the contest. 2. Eligible participants must enter the contest not later than March 1, 1961, by filling out the entry blank found at the end of this announcement and mailing it to: "The Year of Pilgrimage" Hungarian Reformed Federation of America 1801 "P" Street, N. W., Washington, D. C. 3. To win the free round trip to Europe and the Holy Land, eligible participants must write either alone, or with the help of their respective district, section or branch managers, $70,000 worth of life insurance paid to the Home Office in advance for at least six months. All types of insurance plans will be credited to the contestants with the exception of juvenile term insurance. 4. Contestants producing more than the required quota will be eligible not only for the free round trip, but also for special cash prizes listed below. Those who do not reach their quota will receive the regular commission given by our Federation for each $1,000 worth of insurance paid at least six months in advance.
