This merely informative but nonetheless important meeting, which was held after the National Elders’ and Ministerial Association’s Conferences, brought forth the following noteworthy resolutions. 1. The Supreme Council resolved to uphold its previous decision in connection with the building program of the Bethlen Home: to build a new Old People’s Home within the limits of the previously accepted budget and, when necessary, the mortgage granted last year for this purpose. 2. After hearing and accepting the officers’ reports on Home Office and field activities, it was resolved that the year of 1961 be designated as “The Year of Pilgrimage”. THE YEAR OF PILGRIMAGE WITH NEW MEMBERSHIP DRIVE According to the resolution of the meeting of the Supreme Council, we are happy to announce that beginning on September 16, 1960, through July 15, 1961, during the Year of Pilgrimage, we plan to initiate a new membership drive in which the winners will be awarded not only valuable cash prizes but also a free round trip to Europe and a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
