10 FRATERNITY and do away with, among other things, the disproportion and confusion which exist, for instance, in the election of the representation of the quadrennial conventions. The staff of officers carefully prepared the proposed amendments and those now are presented to the convention with the approval of the entire Supreme Council. What I wish to emphasize in connection with that is the high expenses of the conventions with large numbers. The more the delegations are enlarged, the further into the future is pushed the time when we can start issuing dividends. And the latter has been a frequently voiced wish of our membership which, within possibilities, we should fulfill. I think that, in case of favorable decision, we may start the issuance of dividends within the next four years. Concerning other future tasks, we will have an opportunity to present our ideas during the convention in accordance with the agenda. ★ ★ ★ In my presentation so far I have attempted to report on the work accomplished by myself. Now, with reference to the official reports approved by the Insurance Deparatment of the States during the past four years with MEMBERSHIP..............................................2,973 New Members CERTIFICATES...........................................3,561 New Certificates OUR INSURANCE IN FORCE $7,677,011.00 Value OUR ASSETS..............................................$2,753,962.40 Amount INCREASED: I feel that I am able to provide a clear picture of not only the work done by myself but also of the results that were brought on by the devotion and diligence of my officer colleagues, our employees, organizers and our fellow workers’ activities at the branches. Ours was only the work; the grace is God’s! Blessed be His thrice holy name! Finally, my heartfelt thanks are due to my harmoniously cooperating officers, outside members of our Supreme Council and all those who furthered the development of our Federation with their work during the years of trial. With love and respect I ask the convention to accept my report, to discuss it and to give the usual dispensation. GEORGE E. K. BORSHY
