FRATERNITY 7 JOSEPH KECSKEMETHY: OUR SIXTH DISTRICT OFFICE On June 13, 1959, with the participation of the officers of the Federation and our local staff workers, we officially set into operation cur Sixth District Office in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where we have one of our largest Hungarian communities, and where the renowned Dutch Reformed University and Theological Seminary is located. We created our district offices in New York, Bethlehem, Cleveland, Detroit and Chicago for the purpose of serving the best interests of our Hungarian people and our members, and it is with this same objective that we created our Sixth District Office in New Brunswick. It was to this noble service that we dedicated our newest office, which was instituted by the National Secretary as organizational director, approved by the officers of the Federation and officially dedicated by the Superintendent of Bethlen Home through his fervent prayer in which he asked God’s merciful blessings for the success of our continued fraternal work. In addition to its fine interior and exterior appearance, our New Brunswick office has another distinctive feature. It so happens that a block on either side of it stand the Hungarian Reformed and the Hungarian Lutheran Churches, while across the street is the Hungarian Catholic Church! With this exceptionally suitable location, we can more readily demonstrate our desire to work in close proximity with and for our God-fearing, church-going Hungarian people with this in mind: “If God is with us, who can be against us?” Serving as a means of promoting the growth and development of our Federation, and of helping to preserve the unity of the Hungarian people, we happily offer our new office for the convenience of our members and ask the kind patronage of the entire Hungarian community. Our New Brunswick District Office is located at 216 Somerset Street and will be open from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. Tuesday through Saturday and on Thursday until 8 p. m. Membership dues and applications for life, accidental and hospitalization insurance will be accepted there, and those who contact the office in matters concerning the Federation will receive prompt and courteous attention. The Office Director is our Eastern Territory .Supervisor, Paul St. Miklossy, of Fair Lawn, N. J., and his co-workers, who will have scheduled office hours, are: Rev. Paul Ferenczy, New Jersey District Manager; Mrs. Andrew Kosa, Charles Kovács and Ernest Kovács, Branch Managers in the New Brunswick area, and Albert St. Miklossy, our Perth Amboy Section Manager. The telephone number is: CHarter 7-2077. We believe that God will help us in our newest endeavor and that our work will prove to be successful.
