Nagy, delegate, called the attention of the Convention to the coming anniversary of Trianon and recommended that on such occasions we should organize demnostrations in order that we may ex­press our protests against the injustices to Hungary. 100. Attested: Recorded by: Tibor Toth Dr. Alexander Toth Zoltán Vajda Dezső Abraham Gedeon Tukacs WE ARE GLAD TO REGISTER The Ohio Evangelical and Reformed Churchmen’s first Retreat was held July 28-29, 1956, at Heidelberg College, Tiffin, Ohio. The General Chairman of the Retreat was Steve J. Novak, President of the Toledo Hungarian E. & R. Church Brotherhood. Mr. Novak is a second generation Hungarian, member of the Consistory Board of his church, Chairman of the Social Action Committee, Sunday School Teacher, Boy Scout Troop Institutional Representative, Chairman of two Cub Scout Packs, Trustee in the Letter Carriers’ Union Branch 100, Vice President of Toledo Alumni Association of Church School Leaders, and Chaplain of Toledo Government Employees’ Craftsman Masonic Lodge. He is a mem­ber of our Federation, together with his two sons, Steven and Paul. We are glad to register this with the remark that it is always good to hear of a second generation Hungarian who has made a name for himself among Americans and who is proud that he is of Hungarian descent.
