FRATERNITY 3 MINUTES of the REGULAR CONVENTION held by THE HUNGARIAN REFORMED FEDERATION OF AMERICA beginning May 28, 1956 in the Chapel of its Bethlen Home and in the new Assembly Hall dedicated on the previous day in Ligonier, Pennsylvania FIRST DAY Monday, May 28, 1956 I. Divine Service in the Church Beginning at 10 A. M. the members of the Convention and many of their guetsts, together with the inmates of the Bethlen Home, participated in a joint communion service, conducted by President Dr. Francis Újlaki and Vice Presidents Charles Papp and Alexander Daroczy, while the singing was led by the organ accompaniment of Dr. Gabriel Ujfalussy. The cover page of the bulletin used in this service was decorated by the center section of Michael Munkacsy’s painting, “Golgotha”. II. Convention in the Assembly Hall 1. After the singing of the hymn, “Come Holy Spirit, Lord God”, Dr. Francis Újlaki, President, opened the meeting and greeted the sister organizations, which sent representatives to salute our Convention, being as follows: the delegation of the William Penn Fraternal Association, organized out of the merger of the Verhovay and Rakoczy Society, composed of Coloman Revesz, President, Albert Stalkovics, Secretary, and Elmer Charles, Organizing Manager, in whose name President Coloman Revesz expressed their thanks for the greetings, and the best wishes of their members for the successful work of the Convention. the delegation of the American Life and Sick Benefit Association, commonly known as the Bridgeport Federation, whose members, President Peter Suta and Secretary Stephen Szegedy, both answered to the greetings and expressed their congratulations upon the great progress of the Federation; the representatives of the press who presented their greetings one after the other, namely, Dr. Alexander Toth, of the Reformátusok Lapja,
