TESTVÉRISÉG 13 necessary information above. Regarding the actual selling of the Hospitalization certificates, the following should be observed: A) For the time being we have sent application blanks only to the District Managers who will instruct our local representatives personally, giving them supplies of stationery and blanks. The Home Office also will be glad to supply the branches with additional printed material. B) In the State of New York every Hospitalization member will receive a “certificate”, while in the other states a “rider” is given, to be attached to the life insurance certificate. C) It is not necessary to send in the life insurance certificate; only the NUMBER of the valid life insurance certificate should be given in the Hospitalization application, together with the number of the Branch. The Home Office will request the member to attach the “rider” to the life insurance certificate. D) Until further developments occur, no Hospitalization Insurance can be issued in the State of Illinois. We are negotiating with the Insurance Department of this state, and when we receive the permission we will notify the District Managers and the Branches. E) Hospitalization Insurance can be given not only to new members, but also to every present member in good standing who is under 55 years of age. Members of our Sick Benefit Department can buy the Hospitalization plan in addition to their membership in the Sick Benefit Department. F) It is important to note that when the member becomes 60 years of age, the Hospitalization Insurance is automatically terminated and voided. No more dues are accepted beyond this age, nor is any benefit paid. * * * For a long, time our members have been, expressing their desire for this type of insurance. Our plans were ready two years ago, but owing to the fact that the complete approval of the Insurance Departments of the different states always makes delays unavoidable, only now are we in the position to offer this plan to the public. We are convinced, however, that we now have a Hospitalization Insurance plan which fulfills every possible requirement and is favorably comparable with any similar plan. One of its greatest advantages is that it is non- cancellable. In other words, if all the dues are paid regularly, it is always valid until the age of 60. We sincerely hope that our members will eagerly grasp this new opportunity and that our • co-workers will do everything in their power to make the new Hospitalization plan popular, selling it to the largest possible number of present and new members.
