“I will give thanks unto Thee, O Jehovah, among the peoples; And I will sing praises unto Thee among the nations.”

Each season brings its special gifts and seems on its coming to be more beautiful than the last. Autumn with its reds and golds of leaves and harvest, fruit and flowers, brings special feelings of gratitude and thanksgiving. Our hearts respond to the prayer;

“For the beauty of the year; for the glory of the seasons and the sure and bountiful harvests. We thank Thee our Father.”

We need to be more grateful for all these blessings Gratitude to be worthy of the name must find expression in service. Our lives must be spent to bring to the less fortunate a fair share of the bounty and blessings that are ours.
