“I have set the Lord always before me”.

Here in a few words we see the reason for our troubled world. In our time men have been turning away from the Lord of the universe to worship such gods as class, the race, or the defied individual. The Supreme Being recognized in same quarters today is a God of bloodsaed and racial prejudice, and the disastrous results of this backward trend in religion are plain for all to see. A tribal God always leads to war and disquietude. A universal God always leads to peace in the soul and good will among men. We need to set before us the Lord of the universe as our ever-present source of help and salvation. No ohter help can save us from deatli and disaster.
