1 DECEMBER, 1943. (jJlpriatmaB Qüor^ “Let us adore, and give Him His right, All glory and power, all wisdom and might, All honour and blessing, with angels above, And thanks never ceasing, and injinite love.” Many years have passed since shepherds keeping their flocks on a Judean hillside saw the glory of God shine in the sky and heard tidings of great joy to all people. How sure they were that it was the glory of God they saw; that to Him alone belonged the power to bring great events to pass. We to-day are in the midst of great darkness, but we too this Christmas, can see the glory that belongs to God. Even amid the carnage of war, Christians can see beyond to the final defeat of tyrany and the building an new and better world. Let the glory of the Lord shine in our hearts, giving us hope, courage and patience to share in the bidding of His new world, and let us join with the multitude of the heavenly host, singing glory to God in the highest and on earth peace and goodwill.
