Tárogató, 1942-1943 (5. évfolyam, 1-12. szám)

1942-07-01 / 1-2. szám

July — August, 1942. There is a challenge to us in these days of hard struggle in the words of Emerson: “O friend, never strike sail to fear. Come into port greatly, or sail with God the seas. Not in vain you live, for every passing eye is cheered and refined by the vision.” We need to remember that eyes over the world are upon us, watching and waiting to see how we are coming into port. If we are truly sailing the seas with God as our guiding star we will put courage and vision into the peoples who are harried and distressed.--------------□-------------BOARD OF HOME MISSIONS, The United Church of Canada Wesley Buildings, 299 Queen Street West, Toronto 2, Ont.
