Ede Sólymos History of the Dunaföldvár-Báta Fishery The History of the Dunaföldvár-Báta Fishery is a complementary work. The company was established based on the 1888. XIX. legislative act. In 1894, fishing right owners on the Danube in Tolna County united in the Dunaföldvár-Bátya and Fajsz-Báta Fisheries. Following the merger of these two fisheries, the company mentioned in the title was established. The author discusses the circumstances of establishment, difficulties related to leasing out fishing rights, and terms of contracts in detail. The statement about fishing areas provides useful information for placename researchers. Description about the problems of breeding and catch statistics provide additional information for those interested in these subjects. The historic presentation ends with the company's socialization. Dr. Braun Sándorné Information about the activities of 'Ant' co-ops Despite the absence of originál documents, this work introduces the 'Ant' Producer- Seller- and Consumer Co-ops initiated by Earl Sándor Károlyi in 1898 using plenty of sources. The movement reaching almost every settlement was established in a difficult economic and political situation following the First World War. The ambition was to provide sufficient and cheap electricity for rural population. Participants organized sales and helped to improve production. Non-co-op members benefited from their achievements as well. 526
