RAINBOW 1990/31. Literary, artistic and critical review Published every four months Summary We open this issue with poems of György Faludyand Sándor Csoóri. We publish poems of Tibor Zalán, János Sziveri (Budapest), János Tár­náé (Torontó), Ferenc Kontra (Növi Sad), Ferenc Mózsi, Barna Ma­­gyari, György Gömöri, István Gyurik, Máté Bállá, Brigitta Báli, and László Pálfi Török (Transylvania). János Bebek’s “Fragment” is followed by István Bogárdi Szabó’s: Sic itur, sic transit, and a short story by István G. Fekete. We also publish false sonet tes of ’’Sándor Petőfi" and a translation from Ft. Jerzy Popieluszko's Notes; and we continue Judit Kopdcsi’s Diary (3rd Part). Andrei Vozniesenski’spoem is translated by György Gömöri. We also publish two unknown poems of István Sinka. In facsimile we publish fragments from the Laws of Transylvanian Women. László Vatai is focusing on Magda Szabó’s work, followed by Brigitta Bali’s essay. József Botlik writes about a destroyed Hungarian Cemetery; and Sándor Polgár’s study is about the Hungarian Publica­tions outside of Hungary. In the critic ’s section we publish book reviews by Magda Szabó (Bu­dapest), János Tarnóc, Vilmos Ágoston (Budapest), Klára Györgyey, Dezső Tandy, Anikó Kovács (Netherlands), Zoltán Banner (Békéscsa­ba), Éva Saáry, Brigitta Báli, Péter Gosztonyi, and Tihamér Komjáthy. Lajos Szathmáry is paying tribute to Béla Teleki, György Bözödi, and István Király.
