MARCH, 19Ö8 A GLEAM OF HOPE IN A DARK FUTURE From the haze and confusion of modern American politics, — leadership is rising through a man, who is a dedicated, talented, determined fighter for the cause of freedom. He is the third party presidential candidate, former Governor of Alabama, George C. Wallace. As a leader of individual and State Rights, he has clearly expressed in his speeches, that America’s international and domestic policies need new people, new thoughts, new fighters, because the old policymakers and their aims have created retreat and defeat. During the past few decades, Hungarians have suffered so many disappointments in American politicians and in their statements, that they are somewhat sceptical and weary toward every new phase of the American political spectrum. However, in this case we have to make an exception and we have to support the one who is willing to restore the freedom of America the saftey of its citizens and a sound foreign policy. Governor Wallace’s past is clear example, that he is a tireless fighter, willing to fight to win until the last round. He has principles, which is a rare virtue with modern day American politicians. He realizes, that the United States cannot achieve world freedom without the help of others. He knows America needs true allies, in order to obtain victory. He can see that a few months Governor GEORGE C. WALLACE are not enough to change a pattern of treason, which is the result of thirty years of planned political action. Governor George Wallace is gifted with all, that makes one a leader when most needed. He is sensible and he is not susceptible to ill advise. He is the torchlight in the eve of American awakening. He may bring a change in world events, America’s domestic policies and in the interpretation of human rights. Every true American and every true Anti-communist must whole heartedly support the “one leader”, who is willing to bear the responsibility to eliminate the existing chaos which seems to be an impossible task to most politicians. We should remember, Governor George C. Wallace can change the present political trend in the United States and the destiny of the world only with the help of dedicated fighters like-yon.
