nak, akik ezt alátámasztják (13, 14), és vannak, akik szerint mivel nem eredményez jobb látóélességjavulást és nem egyértelmű annak recidíva ellenes preventív hatása, ezért ennek lefejtése nem javasolt (15). Más szerzők szerint az ILM- eltávolítás a recidíva gyakoriságát csökkenti, de nem eredményez jobb látóélesség-javulást (16, 17). Saját vizsgálati anyagunkból kizártuk azokat az eseteket, amelyeknél az ERM-et csak az ILM-mel együtt lehetett eltávolítani.

Eredményeink alapján összefoglalva elmondható, hogy gyakorlott operatőr esetén minél korábban, minél jobb látóélesség mellett elvégzett ERM-eltávolítás esetén jobb látóélesség érhető el a műtét után. A preoperatív GCC-érték az operatőr számára jobban jósolhatja az elérhető posztopertaív látóélességet, mint önmagában a centrális foveavastagság. Méréseink alapján elmondható, hogy az idiopátiás epiretinális membrán optikai koherencia tomográfiás vizsgálata pontosabb betegség-megítélést biztosít nemcsak a stádiumbeosztás, hanem a retinarétegek differenciált leképezésén alapuló finomabb elváltozások tekintetében is. Ez alapot nyújt ahhoz, hogy objektív paraméterek ismeretében jósolt prognózissal biztosabban állíthassuk fel műtéti indikációt.
