Kongresszusi összefoglalók Cost; of Surgical or Conservative Treatment of Primary Closed Angle Glaucoma István Cseke Erzsébet Hospital, Sopron Glaucoma is the second leading cause of global vision loss. Primary Closed Angle Glaucoma estimated to represent one cjuarter of glaucoma cases. Advantageous effect of the removal of the lens crystalline is well known. Aim: To compare the cost of lens removal with other possible treatments. Method: Model analysis of the operated and conservatively treated patient groups. Result: According to our calculations cost of lens removal equals 2-4 yearly treatment by conservative methods. Conclusion: Surgical removal of the lens for treating Primary Open Angle Glaucoma is not just a medical solution but an advantageous alternative economically as well. 2016. július 2., szombat^0 July 2016, Saturday A terem/Rqqm A Kurzus 6.
