The Xlth Congress of the European Society of Ophthalmology will take place in Budapest, Hungary, from 1 to 5 June 1997. The scientific programme of the congress ranges across many different topics of ophthalmology covering senile macular degeneration, vitreoretinal surgery, cataract extraction, conserjvative treatment of glaucoma and other new achievements. Many courses will support postgraduate teaching with expert instructors, EUPO (the European Union University Professors of Ophthalmology) will hold courses in the following topics: Cornea, Conjunctiva, Lid, Orbit and Lachrymal System.
