Bőgi, J., Török, E., Kelemen, E., 11 i á s, L.: Ocular symptoms of polychondritis recidivans

In the past 15 years the very rare clinical condition was established in two cases in the Second Eye Department of the University Medical School, Budapest. The first case was reported by the authors in 1973, the second patient is under their observance since January, 1985. The significance of the report is that both cases were in attendence of internists because of their severe general symptoms and the eye changes had helped to detect the origin of the condition.

Dieses außerordentlich seltene Krankheitsbild wurde im Laufe der vergangenen 15 Jahre an der II. Augenklinik in 2 Fällen diagnostiziert. Den ersten Fall publizierten die Autoren 1973, während der zweite Patient seit Januar 1985 unter Beobachtung steht. Die Darstellung der Fälle scheint deshalb für lohnhaft, weil beide Patienten wegen schwerer Allgemeinsymptome früher an der internistischen Abteilung durchuntersucht wurden, die Augensymptome lenkten aber die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Grundkrankheit.
