In der den wichtigeren Gebieten der Tätigkeit von Blaskovics und Imre gewidmeten Arbeit, wird im Spiegel einiger Literaturdaten der vergangenen Jahre bzw. Jahrzehnte die Wirkung der fachlichen Tätigkeit der beiden Professoren auf die Ophthalmologie von heute ermessen.
