Авторы сообщают о своих наблюдениях, полученных ими при имплантации силиконового масла и витректомии, выполненных в случаях отслоения сетчатки. В определенных случаях, несмотря на много интра- и постоперативных случаев осложнений, они считают силиконовое масло необходимой внутренней тампонадой, но считают необходимым подчеркнуть, что требуется поиск дальнейших путей возмещения стекловидного тела.

Süveges I., Kolozsvári L., Rigó Gy.: Intraocular implantation of silicone oil in cases of retinal detachment

Experiences are reported which were acquired by vitrectomy and silicone oil implantation in cases of retinal detachment. In spite of numerous intra- and post-operative complications silicone oil is regarded as an indispensible interior tamponade in certain cases, but it is emphasized that the explorations of new possibilities must be continued for the better substitution of the vitreous body.

Berichtet wird über die Erfahrungen mit bei Ablatio retinae durchgeführter Vitrektomie und Silikonölimplantation. Trotz der vielen intra- und postoperativen Komplikationen wird das Silikonöl in gewissen Fällen als eine unentbehrlich innere Tamponade betrachtet, dessen ungeachtet sollten aber die Forschungen im Interesse der Entwicklung neuer Methoden zum Glaskörperersatz energisch fortgesetzt werden.
