В случае вторичной реконструкции переднего сегмента наряду с витректомией самым важным является натяжение с помощью шва частей радужной оболочки. Этим достигается то, что радужная оболочка продолжительно остается на своем анатомическом месте, благодаря чему она не ущемляется в ране и не закрывает камеру глаза.

А 1 Ь е г t h В.: The reconstruction of the anterior section (of the eye)

In case of a secundary reconstruction of the anterior section of the eye vitrectomy as well as the stretching of the effected parts of the iris with sutures is of primary importance. This procedure assures the iris to take up the anatomical position. Therefore the iris do not catch in the edge of the wound, and the angle of the iris is not obstructed.

B. Alberth: Rekonstruktion des vorderen Segments

Im Laufe der Rekonstruktion des sekundären vorderen Segments meldet sich — nebst der Vitrektomie — als wichtige Anforderung, daß die Irisabschnitte mit Hilfe von Nähten entsprechend gespannt werden. Dies gewährleistet, daß die Iris definitiv auf ihrem anatomischen Platz bleibe, d. h. weder in die Wundlippe eingekeilt wird, noch die Kammerbrucht verschließt.
