As a young branch of science, cryosurgery deserves attention and efforts on the part of research workers, so that a number of questions which still remain open can be solved. REFERENCES: 1. Они обращают особое внимание на применение низких температур в глазной хирургии и в лечении офтальмологических больных. Наконец, авторы рекомендуют продолжать научно-исследовательскую работу для выяснения еще не разрешенных проблем в крио-хирургии. Т. К rwawicz und L. Krwawicz: Kryogene Eingriffe in der modernen Chirurgie Eine Übersicht der Anwendungsmöglichkeiten der Kryotechnik an verschiedenen Gebieten der Chirurgie wird gegeben. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird der Anwendung niedriger Temperaturen in der ophthalmologischen Chirurgie und in der Behandlung der Augenkrankheiten gewidmet. Schliesslich wird zur Klärung der bislang noch nicht gelösten Probleme der Kryochirurgie Fortsetzung der Forschungsarbeit empfohlen. 181
