The author presents a case of subretinal haemorrhage imitative of malignant melanoma of the choroid. Ha points out the tissue transformations, which made the picture of the fundus resembling a malignant tumour. The available methods of examination are not altogether reliable from the differential-diagnostic point of view.

Ein Fall von subretinaler Blutung wird beschrieben, der ein Melanoma malignum chorioideae nachahmte. Es wird auf die Gewebeveränderungen hingewiesen, die das Augenhintergrundbild einem malignen Tumor ähnlich gestalteten. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Untersuchungsverfahren sind zur Zeit vom differentialdiganostischen Standpunkt noch nicht in jeder Hinsicht verlässlich.
