Căbuz Andrea (szerk.): Pulzus IV. Székelyudvarhelyi Művésztelep 2015. július 13 - 23. (Székelyudvarhely, 2015)
It is the fourth year that from mid-July for a period of ten days Spanydr house and its yard is one of the cradles of contemporary art in Székelyudvarhely where brilliant artistic ideas take shape. Through the years the colony of artists from Székelyudvarhely has managed to play an important role in the process of renewing Szekler art, while also depending on the traditions of the spirit of fine arts of the place. The pulsation of Pulzus is becoming louder, requesting an increased pace, and it has become a privilege and an honour for artists to participate in the camp in Székelyudvarhely. Every year more and more prestigious and appreciated Transylvanian and Hungarian artists arrive, however one of the objectives of the colony is to provide an opportunity for the promising young local talents to present themselves. In addition, Pulzus has expanded internationally through the initiative of inviting one foreign artist every year to be present at the art camp. Works born in the colony are an integral part of contemporary art and maintaining the activity at high-level has always been an important consideration in the organization of Pulzus. We hope that in the years to come there will be prestigious artists at the camp whose works left behind in our town will inform us about the current situation and various paths of the national and international painting and sculpture.
