March,2010 Dear Members and Friends The Carpathian Observer is the official organ of “the Committee of Transylvania”, a not for profit fraternal association for the benefit of the Hungarian minority in Transylvania, Romania. The paper is sent without charge to our Hungarian friends throughout the world who deeply care for our compatriots in Transylvania, Slovakia, Carpatho-Ukraine and Voivodina. In order to give an unbiased view of the situation of the minorities in these lands, we are also sending the paper to our Senators, Representatives, Officials of the State Department, Universities, Libraries, Reading Rooms and the Press. We are happy that the feedback for our publications is very positive. Politicians and professors of universities and students are reading our papers with interests and are looking forward to our further copies. You can also find us on the internet: carpathianobserver.com Our deepest gratitude goes out to our friends and coworkers, who do this work voluntarily, strictly out of their love for the oppressed minorities. Since the printing and postage is very expensive, we are asking for your most generous donation. If you want the unbiased news to continue to be offered to authorities, who make important decisions about the welfare and very existence of our nation, please open your heart and wallet and send your donation to our treasurer. Your support and magnanimous donation for the expenses are gratefully appreciated. Cordially yours, Dr. Alexander Havadtoy President cut here Name:..
