ARANYBULLA-ÉRTELMEZÉSEK A KÉT VILÁGHÁBORÚ KÖZÖTTI MAGYAR TÖRTÉNETÍRÁSBAN Bull mainly on the grounds of international political and cultural contacts. Finally, the method of those historians is analysed who argued from an intellectual or social historical perspective (Bálint Hóman, Ferenc Eckhart, György Bonis), who regarded the birth of the Bull as the result of socio-economical processes, as well as the impact of the medieval European intellectual culture in general. By way of conclusion, the paper highlights those aspects of the interwar discourse that deserve attention even today. 1140
