TRÓNBESZÉD KORONA NÉLKÜL? 1222 Áttekintve a vizsgált kérdéseket arra a következtetésre juthatunk, hogy az 1860-as években a szimbolikus politika terén is szükség volt engedményekre mind a magyarok, mind Ferenc József részéről. A szimbolikus kompromisszum ráadásul meg is előzhette a politikai megegyezést, amire példa az 1865–68-as országgyűlés megnyitása. A megnyitási ceremónia 1865 decemberében volt a „legmagyarosabb”, másként fogalmazva: az uralkodó ekkor tette a legtöbb engedményt a magyar királyi reprezentáció javára. A kiegyezés azonban csak 1867 tavaszán jött létre. What difficulties did this cause when the Emperor wanted to start a dialogue with the Hungarians in the 1860s about a compromise? How did the two sides and the two positions approach each other, and how did all this appear at the level of symbolic politics? How did past traditions survive, and how were new ones born? What features and political intentions can we observe in the opening (and closing) ceremony of Hungarian Parliaments? When did Franz Joseph first give the speech from the throne as the crowned king of Hungary?
