St John the New from Suceava Orthodox Church The church was built out of clay and straws in the ,70s, with the financial contribution of the believers. Over the years the church in Bereu Nou was a part of the church of Micula, Micula Nouă or Lazuri, becoming a parish on April 30, 2012, when the believers of Bereu Nou wanting to have a priest on every Sunday and religious celebrations decided to set up as an individual parish, requesting for Gheorghe Radu Sălăgian as a parish priest who together with the singer Emanuel Leschian succeed to maintain the spirit of faith and to achieve some improvements of the church.
