The St. Mary Queen of Heaven Roman Catholic church
of a chapel began in 1939, that was consecrated onlv at the end of the war. It was a parish in from 1946 to 1962, and in 1962 it joined the parish of Lazuri. In 1967 it began the building of a small church made of clay and straw, where it was attached a tower made of brick coming from the overthrow of the old nearby parish house. In 2001, at the initiative of the parish priest loan Gavril Pop, a new, larger and imposing church began to be built in front of the small church. The church was built with the financial support of the believers, but also with the help of big financial donations made by loan Hodiş, son of the village. It was consecrated in 2012. Today the parish has 120 Orthodoxfamilies, of which about 16 families are Ukrainians.
