the tower was realized in a special way, building cylindrical columns instead of buttresses. The church has three bells, two were made in 1926, while the third in 1815. The catholic parish was re-established only, in the 1800’s. The present building of the Roman Catholic Church is built between 1816 and 1824, but only a decade later, after the earthquake that caused serious damage, extensive restoration and reconstruction work was needed. In 1925, the church is enlarged, getting the present shape. The rectangular tower is integrated into the nave on the western faţade and the sanctuary is enclosed by a semicircular apse.
