its destination: the furniture, accessories and mural decorations are fine, wearing warm colors. It is a relaxation room and it is also arranged to suit activities in the company of women relatives. The furniture comprised several small-sized but functional sets, a lounge for reading and relaxing, one side of the room was especially rendered for preparing the toilet (mirror, console, jewelry box), then there were as well objects for female activities (embroidery, sewing standing). The wallpaper was usually worn in warm colors, and important features of the room were the textiles (embroidery, embroiled pillows, curtains etc.) and paintings depicting romance scenes. Objects in the room: 1. Set decorated with Baroque motives: mirror with console and stool, small table and two chairs; 2. Sitting set, 19th cent.: Sofa, two armchairs, two chairs and toilet-table; 3. Two tapestries with garden scenes; 4. Table with mirror and support for embroidery; 5. Sofa, biedermeier style, 19th cent.; 6. Tapestry with flowers and birds, 19th cent. ♦ Bedroom In the European high society, having more than one bedroom in the household, was a regular thing. The husband and wife had each a private bedroom, together with a common one, the marital bedroom. The latter prevails and is by far the most spectacular through size, luxury in the room and furniture. The room that was to be the marital bedroom had to comply with the historical reality and was no doubt favored by architecture, having a place especially designed for the bed and symmetrical bedsides as decorative items. Although the marital bedroom was set in a large-sized room, the design targeted the position of the bed which usually came against one of the side walls of the room. The lack of furniture items in the core of the room, which marked its functionality, was made up by the rich decorations in the bed area and balanced by the additional furniture set in key places of the room. It is obvious, that the bed normally accessorized with bedsides was the main piece of furniture, while other items of furniture complied with it in textiles, colors and shape. Accessoires, Wanddekorationen sollen Zärtlichkeit ausstrahlen und sollen in warmen Farben gehalten werden. Dieses Zimmer dient zum Entspannen, muss aber auch für verschiedene Aktivitäten geeignet sein das die Hausherrin, mit ihren weiblichen Verwandten oder mit ihren engsten Freundinnen unternimmt. Die Möbel bestehen aus kleinen Sets mit unterschiedlichen Funktionen: einem Sofa zum Lesen und Entspannen, einer Ankleideecke (Spiegel, Spiegeltisch, Schmuckschatulle), Gegenständen, die mit typischen Aktivitäten von Frauen verbunden sind (Stickereirahmen, Nähkasten usw.). Die Tapetendekoration ist in warmen Farben gehalten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Vielzahl von Heimtextilien (Stickereien, dekorative Kissen, Vorhänge usw.) und Gemälden mit romantischen Szenen. Einrichtung: 1. Set im Barockstil: Spiegel, Spiegeltisch und Hocker, Tisch und zwei Stühle; 2. Sitzgarnitur, 19. Jh.: Tisch, sofa, zwei Sessel, zwei Stühle und Schminktisch; 3. Zwei Wandteppiche mit Gartenszene; 4. Tisch mit Spiegel und Stickereirahmen, 19. Jh.; 5. Sofa im Biedermeierstil, 19. Jh.; 6. Wandteppich mit Blumen und Vogel, 19. Jh. ♦ Das Schlafzimmer In höheren sozialen Kreisen war es üblich, mehrere Schlafzimmer zur Verfügung zu haben. Die Ehepaare hatten normalerweise getrennte Schlafzimmer, aber sie hatten auch ein gemeinsames eheliches Schlafzimmer. Letzteres war von größerer Bedutung auch was es die Größe und die Einrichtung betrifft und bot ein luxuriöses Aussehen. Das Raum in der das eheliche Schlafzimmer untergebracht ist, ist für das Ausstellen die historisch getreue Möbel auch architektonisch bestens geeignet, hinsichtlich der Platzierung des Bettes und mit augeprägten Kabinen für dekorationselemente an beiden Seiten. Obwohl es sich bei dem ausgewählten Raum um einen großen Raum handelt, konzentriert sich die Innenausstattung auf die zentrale Platzierung des Bettes, die dem Schlafzimmer Funktionalität verleiht, harmonisch ergänzt durch die Vielzahl dekorativer Elemente rund um das Bett und die geeignete Platzierung anderer Möbel. Natürlich ist das Bett von Nachttischen umgeben, dies sind die Grundelemente der Möbel, die anderen Möbelstücke passen sich ihrem Material, ihrer Farbe und Form an. Die
