în interior biserica se împarte în pronaos (biserica femeilor), naos (biserica bărbaţilor) şi altar. Intrarea în biserica femeilor sau tindă se face dinspre vest iar o uşă în mijlocul peretelui ce separă pronaosul de naos duce mai departe spre biserica propriu-zisă. Tinda este tăvănită. Zidul despărţitor între biserica femeilor şi cea a bărbaţilor este semideschis şi are patru stâlpi de susţinere pictaţi şi şase stâlpi decorativi din lemn. Biserica bărbaţilor are forma dreptunghiulară, formă întâlnită foarte des în bisericile de lemn din zonă. Din biserica bărbaţilor spre altar se află: uşile împărăteşti şi cele diaconeşti.

Altarul este la rândul său acoperit de o mică cerime. în mijlocul încăperii se află o masă de lemn care înlocuieşte vechiul altar. De pe masă se înalţă o icoană de proporţii mari reprezentând-o pe “Maica Domnului îndurerată”.

Biserica este luminată de un număr redus de ferestre, două în navă şi trei în altar.

The interior of the church is divided in three parts: the pronaos (the porch, or the women’s church), the naos (the men’s church) and the altar. The entrance towards the women’s church or the porch is on the western side. In the middle of the wall separating the pronaos from the naos, a door leads towards the rest of the church. The porch has a sealing. The wall separating the women’s church from the men’s church is semi-opened and has four painted sustaining columns, while six more wooden columns decorate this part. The men’s church is rectangular, a form often used in the wooden churches of this area. The Holy Door and the Deacon’s Doors are located towards the altar.

The altar is covered by a small sealing. A wooden table, replacing the old altar is located in the middle of the room. An icon representing “Our Lady of sorrows” is placed in the middle of the altar table.

The church has few windows: two in the nave and three in the altar.
