Lobont Puscas Maria - Dobrescu Adela: Biserica de lemn din Soconzel (Satu Mare, 2010)

Iconostasul bisericii din Soconzel este masiv, despărţind complet naosul de absida altarului. în afara icoanelor împărăteşti care sunt prinse pe iconostas, locul lor rămânând nepictat, restul scenelor şi icoanelor sunt pictate direct pe tâmplă. Pe iconostas, în partea dreaptă, sub icoana Sf. Nicolae, se află inscripţia : “Arhanghel Mihail, icoane ce s-au făcut în coloare de Arhistir Mihail”.

The iconostasis of the church of Soconzel is massive, completely separating the naos from the apse of the altar. Beside the main icons, attached to the iconostasis, the rest of the icons are painted directly on the structure of the iconostasis. On the right side, under the icon of St. Nicholas an inscription is depicted: “Michael the Archangel, icons that were painted by Arhistir Mihail”.
